When I dealed with the music first time:
When I was three years old I listened to my father's records (especially Pink Floyd). I started to sing solo in a school's choir when I was 8 years old. I always liked to sing along music and when the opportunity to sing in a band came along, I grabbed it with both hands.
My music history:
I performed in a variety of bands, looking for that perfect inner-self in music. Started as a solo singer in a choir, than moved to a full time band of 5 guys (Arise - hardcore band), latter transformed my voice into death metal band (Supremacy). Finally my road of transformation continued with LastDayHere where I found myself in singing clean vocals with rasp parts.
What can I say about LastDayHere and its band mates:
Every band member has his own very defined characteristics. Every one has a quality of his own and that is what makes the band very unique and special in every aspect of music - making and socializing.
Funny story from the road:
Too much crazy things happened so far. Me breaking the stage when I wanted to jump of it was the most memorable thing so far. Strangely the drummer kept playing while he was fixing the cymbal stands J.
Which event I remember the most? Why?
Every event for me is a challenge. You never know what awaits you on the stage. Mainly every gig is like a first one for me. As a front man I am trying to communicate with the crowd and lift the audience to its feet. So there is much more than singing on stage that meets the eye. It is a lot of hard work. So every gig for me is worth remembering.
The toys which make LastDayHere alive:
My SHURE SLX4, beta58, TC Helicon VOICEWORKS PLUS are helping me to perform even better as a singer.
The things I like to do besides LastDayHere:
LastDayHere is my biggest part of what I do in life. I am trying to sing in every chance I get - warming up the voice when I am alone and watching out what I put in my mouth ;o) Trying to do lots of sports and keep my head clean.
For what do I care about:
The first thing I care about is myself. Than the other things come to place. I have lots of respect and care about for my band-friends.
Meaning of my life:
So far the meaning was/is music. And I know it will be for the last of my days. Everyone is searching for that inner piece in his own way. Have to say, when I find that "realm" I will find my meaning of life.
Why I think that people need to see LastDayHere live:
There are no words to describe the energy happening on stage. You will just have to check it for yourself. Cheers!
